MRPACK to ZIP is a free online converter that takes a Modrinth modpack (.mrpack) and repackages it into a standard ZIP archive containing every mod, resource pack, and config file — already sorted into the folders launchers expect:mods/,resourcepacks/, and the pack's overrides merged into the root.

You can convert a pack three ways: upload a local .mrpack file, paste a direct download URL, or enter a Modrinth project ID or slug and let the official Modrinth API resolve it for you.

Many launchers and mod managers still don't import .mrpack files natively. Converting a pack by hand means downloading dozens of mods one by one and copying them into the right folders — a slow, error prone process. Most existing converters either upload your files to a server or charge for the convenience.

We wanted something different: a converter that isfree, fast, and private. So we built one that runs entirely in the browser. You give it a pack, it downloads the mods in parallel, verifies every file against its SHA-1 hash, and hands you back a clean ZIP. Your files never touch a server.

This site has no backend. There is no database, no analytics, and no way for us to see your files. The only network requests that happen are the ones your browser makes to the mod hosts referenced inside your pack. If privacy is important to you, this is about as private as a web tool gets. MRPACK to ZIP is an independent project byRadheevan, a developer who cares about open formats, launcher compatibility, and user privacy. This tool is not affiliated with Modrinth or Mojang Studios — it simply works with their publicly documented formats and APIs.
